[ Team? What team? Lavi is 90% recovered and so going through the cabinets and examining the studio equipment is much more interesting. ]

[Quietly observing his shenanigans from the side, without commenting right away, laughing a little. Oh my.]

[ Eventually gets tired and takes a break. Recovered is not the same as "completely well", after all. That's when he notices someone other than the camera guys watching him.

[ Nope, nope, nope. Saki is thoroughly ignoring the reindeer games. Instead, she's invaded someone's office, put her feet up on the desk and started flipping through one of the fashion magazines strewn about. Acknowledging others will only happen if she feels like it. ]

[ Done with his own magazine perusal, back to snooping. Oh hey, there's an open office--

That's occupied. Hm. ]

You work here, man?

[ Saki lowers her magazine to get a look at the person speaking to her.

She raises it up again. ]

No, I'm -- part of the office. I'm a lamp.

[ he could go for some nope right about now.

he's used to cameras and they obviously come with the car around here, so even though he could duck them easily enough he doesn't bother. instead, he drags the cameraman like a pet, talking cheerfully to the guy over his shoulder ]

If I promise I'm not going to cry in the bathroom, are you still going to follow me, you know. Just to make sure?

[ he knocks on her door as he passes it, the way he's been knocking on every other one, and this time he calls in ]

Housekeeping!

[ The door is half open, but the only light in the office comes from the window. She's probably damaging her eyes on the magazine.

The call makes her press her lips together against the threat of a smile, but she doesn't raise her head. ] Hooker! We'll be done in six hours. [ (There's no one in there with her.) ]

[She's infiltrated the office, but what she meant not realize to begin with is that there's someone already in there.

Tucked in the corner, amidst a pile of open magazines, Yuuki shifts in her sleep.]

[ ...

Saki grabs the closest loose sheet of paper, crushes it into a sizeable paper ball, and tosses it at Yuuki's head. ]

[Allen peers into the room -- he was looking for someone in charge -- and she doesn't look like someone who is in charge, although appearances can be deceiving, but she is reading a fashion magazine, so. sheepishly]

Are those educational, by any chance? I think I may need to... brush up.

[sank]

[ Saki sets her feet flat on the floor to lean forward on the desk, peering around Allen. When she sees he hasn't been followed by a cameraman, she brightens for him. ]

They've got pictures. [ She flips it around to show him what apparently passes for fashion. ] Keep the camera freaks out of here and you can paint the room for all I care.

[ he liked the team huddle. it was nice and cozy in there! with a girl to comfort! but okay, this is fine, too.

feel free to overhear him muttering ]

Could've been here last week, but nooooo.

[he moves through the crowd until a familiar presence (okay, it was mostly the smell) stops him short. he holds his breath for a second, his grip on his cane tightening as if ready to swing, before remembering that there's a damn camera following his every move.

matt's eyes narrow behind his glasses. deadpool. oh, he'd love to send a billy club smashing into the merc's face for what had happened the last time they'd met.

instead, he keeps himself together and carefully makes his way toward deadpool.] And what happened last week? [there's an obvious tension surrounding him.]

Why would you have wanted to be here last week? [a somewhat exasperated question as she passes by. you're in a weird costume, that's cool, do what you like little human dude] You did not get kidnapped soon enough?

[these snacks are not ideal, but being the first thing she's had all week that she hasn't seen someone kill or gut, she'll take it. she can taste all the sugar and processed grains, the things that make hard core dieters weep -- and it's pretty much glorious. that and coffee~! delicious, bitter coffee.]

[excuse her. she's just going to stand here for a second. this is a pretty normal place, after all]

[ Exasperated, she sees someone who looks like she's familiar with this place. ]

Do you see anything that resembles tea? Or hard liquor?

Am I the only one who was really hoping for an open bar?

You look like you're enjoying that coffee. [Allen has eaten quite a bit already and so he has slowed to a more reasonable pace of one pastry per minute, but he spares her a smile anyway, sympathetic. he doesn't fully understand these cameras, or this premise, or anything that's happening right now, but he does understand that it is civilization, which is a far cry from the beach where they've been stranded for a week]

[She'd hoped, with the change in setting, with all the looking around she's doing in the studio and whatever other areas were accessible... Cassie hoped she could have still found him. But Scott Lang wasn't anywhere she looked, small or not. He wasn't there.]

[So despite herself, and knowing the cameras (and any one else from the teams) are there to catch it and see it, embarrassing or not--for just a moment she can't help but crumble a little. To just be sad, bite back curses, and miss him.]

Dad... [Damn it.]

[ He is attempting to put the (empty) coffee pot back surreptitiously enough that no one will see him and get mad at him. But he hears the girl and his heart hurts a little... for her and himself. ]

H, hey... are you okay?

[when he realizes what he's seeing -- the girl in the corner, curled in on herself, looking miserable -- he can't just ignore her, and even less can he ignore the fact that one of those recording devices is pointed directly at her]

[so in one smooth gesture Allen shoves the rest of the eclair in his mouth (priorities) and then skins out of his jacket and drapes it over her shoulders... and head]

[oh goodness, a young girl looking upset--! she looks like so many of Effie's past tributes that Effie just can't help going up to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. she has experience with this~!]

There, there. You're going to be on television! Isn't that exciting? Are you nervous? That's all right, you know. Most people are. You'll get used to it! [smiling. she's honestly trying here, and very sincerely]
