he's used to cameras and they obviously come with the car around here, so even though he could duck them easily enough he doesn't bother. instead, he drags the cameraman like a pet, talking cheerfully to the guy over his shoulder ]

If I promise I'm not going to cry in the bathroom, are you still going to follow me, you know. Just to make sure?

[ he knocks on her door as he passes it, the way he's been knocking on every other one, and this time he calls in ]

[ The door is half open, but the only light in the office comes from the window. She's probably damaging her eyes on the magazine.

The call makes her press her lips together against the threat of a smile, but she doesn't raise her head. ] Hooker! We'll be done in six hours. [ (There's no one in there with her.) ]

Wow, we are way more fun here than I would've guessed. Do they take referrals?

[ She flips the page. ]

[ that gets a laugh, short, and then he says ]

Actually, I can dream of literally anything. But I'll try to restrain myself. Out of concern for your delicate sensibilities.

[ The magazine finally drops on the desk as she leans forward on her elbows. If he's not gotten a peek at her before, he'll get it now -- indignant expression and all. ]

My sensibilities are so far from delicate. Seriously. Get a map.

Nope. [ There's an audible clunk as Saki drops her feet back on the desk, leaning the chair back on its back legs once more. ] If you wanna come in, your monkey has to stay out in the hall.

[ She means the cameraman. She's been avoiding them like the plague. ]
