he's used to cameras and they obviously come with the car around here, so even though he could duck them easily enough he doesn't bother. instead, he drags the cameraman like a pet, talking cheerfully to the guy over his shoulder ]

If I promise I'm not going to cry in the bathroom, are you still going to follow me, you know. Just to make sure?

[ he knocks on her door as he passes it, the way he's been knocking on every other one, and this time he calls in ]

The call makes her press her lips together against the threat of a smile, but she doesn't raise her head. ] Hooker! We'll be done in six hours. [ (There's no one in there with her.) ]

[so... cameras following his every move? wasn't new. it did, unfortunately, keep him from taking off into the city in costume and figuring a way out.

he might as well kill time. the cameras would have to be put away sooner or later, right? matt moves his attention to the client, hands folded neatly on the handle of his cane.]

[these snacks are not ideal, but being the first thing she's had all week that she hasn't seen someone kill or gut, she'll take it. she can taste all the sugar and processed grains, the things that make hard core dieters weep -- and it's pretty much glorious. that and coffee~! delicious, bitter coffee.]

[ Yeah, Cassie. Lucina talks like that. The look she gives in kind isn't smiling, but it's far from unfriendly. ]

[ Lucina, being particularly astute, completely misses all indicators of his disability. She gives a polite shake of her head. ]

[The way of speech indeed surprises her for about half a second but hey more power to you, Lucina. She nods a little to that statement.]0

You're right. I guess it was going to be someone one way or another.

[he moves through the crowd until a familiar presence (okay, it was mostly the smell) stops him short. he holds his breath for a second, his grip on his cane tightening as if ready to swing, before remembering that there's a damn camera following his every move.

matt's eyes narrow behind his glasses. deadpool. oh, he'd love to send a billy club smashing into the merc's face for what had happened the last time they'd met.

instead, he keeps himself together and carefully makes his way toward deadpool.] And what happened last week? [there's an obvious tension surrounding him.]

[If she's particularly bothered by this sudden change, Robin shows it very little, although every once in a while a hand of hers will sprout on the surface of whatever camera is focused on her and either attempt to cover it up -- or shift the focus to someone else. Is it you? Oops sorry.]

Well, my favorite color's orange. Would you rather I go with that? [ Look at him, Pepper. All he ever wears is this uniform, and sometimes a different shirt. He likes redheads wearing orange. Magazine advice is probably a good thing. ]
