[Everyone will wake up suddenly, as if having drifted off -- while sitting upright in an uncomfortable office chair. In one hand they're holding the communicator, and in their lap is propped a clipboard with a job application (standard, looking something like this; it requests up to ten years of job history, ) and a pen. The waiting room is also fairly standard, except for being empty.]

[The communicator's lock screen reads, Complete the job application. Time limit, twenty-four hours.]

[There are magazines, fake plants, and computers. There's a staff lounge with food -- tupperware that might have belonged to some of these nonexistent workers, popcorn and cocoa packets, vending machines -- and restrooms. There are exits, but characters will be unable to use them... or make their own, or escape in any way.]

[So the characters are stuck here, until tomorrow morning. Set up a comment telling everyone what your character is doing, and thinking, whether they're obeying the task or not, at any time during the day. Then tag other people! Be sure to check back later in the week, when people are encouraged make threads for the evening as well as the day! Characters that have been claimed are also welcome at this point to join the community, and will be able to make their own posts, which can be tagged by anyone taking part in the event.]

[Hellboy watches casually from where he's lounging in the chair. He clearly doesn't expect anything so he sits up a little straighter when the charge hits the air. It's a bit of a disappoint when nothing else happens.]

So what's going on, Fabio?

[He's not actually being disrespectful, but everyone gets a nickname and Thor's is going to stick.]

[ he'd have to get the reference to be properly offended! plus, he's distracted. ] Nothing. [ said as though that word alone should be answer enough ]

Yeah. That's obvious.

[ it does make him curious though if he can raise the dead in here. of course there'd have to be someone dead to raise to try that out and he's not willing to commit murder just to test it out. ]

[reignbringer]

No, I mean, there is nothing.

[ he turns his full and complete attention on that window, moving over to it, his expression puzzled ]

I can see the sky, but it does not speak to me. It is not mine, as it should be.

[Hellboy looks a little bothered by that.]

That ever happen before?

[reignbringer]

No. [ simply ] These things have been mine to command since I came of age.

[howbigcanitbe]

Now that's disturbing. [He could mean the lose of that power, or he could mean that power. Who knows.]

[reignbringer]

Yes.

It is.

[ well he knows which one he means. he shoulders Mjolnir and moves over to the window to stare out it suspiciously ]

Okay, so let's see if we can get out of here.

[Hellboy stands up and moves over to the wall. He raises his rock fist and hits the wall with it.]

/maybe i'll just app him too /and deadpool, why not

I am more than ready for the endeavor.

[ he turns to watch Hellboy's attempt, though, his attention narrowing on the arm, and the -- lack of impact it has on the wall. ]

...I take it that was meant to be more effective.

[Hellboy frowns, examining the wall with a squint.]

Should be a hole in it now.

I am far too familiar with that sentiment at the moment. [ he eyes the wall dubiously for a longer moment, then he reels back with Mjolnir and crashes it into the wall.

but it too makes no real impact. Thor grits his teeth. ]

[There's a snort, but it's not really of amusement or of mocking. ]

Take it that was supposed to be more dramatic.

[reignbringer]

It was meant to level the wall. [ his impatience with the situation is shining through again, shortening his sentences ] As it would have, if this were any ordinary dwelling. [ his eyes turn suspiciously on the entire room.

even desk lamps are possibly treacherous! ]

Good to know we ain't dealin' with ordinary.

[They can go on a smashing spree. Hellboy gives the whole place the same sort of dubious, suspicious look. ]

That was obvious from the first. [ he hefts Mjolnir and huffs, scowling ]
