[ . . . This is not where she last was. Although she's having trouble remembering what she was last doing (it's a blank slate). So when she comes to somewhere down the beach a ways, she's disorientated enough all ready. Not to mention waking up with a strange note and in a place like this! She was at the academy, wasn't she? Walking farther and farther into the depths of the jungle, she fiddles with her communicator.

This is a phone, isn't it? Or something like it, she thinks. So even if she doesn't know how to. When it flickers on, she's got a long, metal, staff like rod in one hand, hanging, for the moment, casually at her side. Otherwise her brows knit in concern as she stares into the feed.]

This is on, right?

[She clears her throat.]

Headmaster? Zero...?

[Although she doesn't know if she should expect to hear them. If she's been captured somehow, then she doesn't expect them to be around. Which is-- a troubling thought, too. Even if she'll deny it to Zero, she can't help but to feel anxious when on her own. And now she's lost and can't remember anything, try as hard as she might. The grip on her weapon tightens lightly.]

Um... excuse me! Can anyone else see or hear this? _{Can anyone here understand Japanese?} [ . . . This certainly isn't anywhere near to home, after all. M-Maybe she needs to try another language. Her English is abysmal though, and she doesn't know any other languages.]

[Er... 'Help' is the right word, isn't it? But she's not sure how to communicate anything past saying hello and her name. Or if anyone where speaks English to begin with. Instead she falls back on what she knows.]

I've been kidnapped and given a strange note. I need the authorities... or a...ranger? I don't know where I'm at, but it's no where near home. If anyone at all can please help, let me know.

[A pause, before her face darkens.]

And if this is only connected to the people responsible... you have a lot of explaining to do! Kidnapping high school girls is the worst! Believe me, you've made a BIG mistake!

What did you do that time? Were you, like, really concentrating? [ assuming you've been speaking Japanese this whole time, that's all he's got, since he understood that, but it was definitely not "in English" this time. ]

I just thought 'I really want to speak Japanese'. I made a deliberate effort.

[ . . . Wow, her English is embarrassing. She only knows random words and very simple phrases. Like 'thank you'.]

Yes... There's a lot we can do in six days to get ready to meet up with whoever brought us here. We don't have enough information about them to do it effectively, but we can still do something. [more than in that confined office building, at any rate]

[Though he's not surprised she feels that way. To be honest, until he heard her voice he was furious at the situation he'd found himself in. But he'd much rather be here than not, if the alternative meant that Yuuki would be here alone.

He's on the edge of the jungle as well...since the straight sun quickly destroyed all energy he possessed and rendered him completely useless. But he hasn't moved too far into it yet because it was so hot and sunny out still.]

Can you find the beach from where you are?

E-Err...

[Okay maybe that didn't sound like it should have.]

Sorry. It's not that I want you caught or anything. Of course I would prefer that Zero be safe at home.

[ . . . She wont even argue the fact that she genuinely would have needed one. Miming everything just doesn't sound appealing. For a couple moments she watches him silently.]

Oh-- um... [She glances back up to her weapon, a touch uneasy. Usually, no one realizes she has one to begin with. At least... none of her classmates (and she's rarely off campus).

The question regarding her name distracts the conversation a moment, though.]

It...! It's nice to meet you, Walker-san.

[Polite dip of her head as a bow]

My name is Yuuki Kurosu. You can just call me Yuuki, though.

R-Right...!

[Well she's more than glad to follow after her. (Especially because she wasn't so sure she understood any of Allen's directions, in the end). And-- admittedly, she feels a little less anxious now that she's in the company of someone else.]

Back home...? Well- [She contemplates the question a bit]

I live on campus. My adoptive father is the chairman of a special academy back home. Leaving school grounds is forbidden without permission unless it's vacation, so I spend most of my time there.

[Which is fine with her. All of the people she cares about goes there after all.]

In the end, I guess I'm just enjoying the school life!

We learn plenty! Math, Science, Language Arts... we have a really good P.E. program. [But it's probably the only class she excels at.] History and English-- I'm still working on that, though.

Right, those are categories. Like on Jeopardy. That doesn't tell me what you're actually learning.

Currently I'm learning Algabra, Chemistry, Biology-- [Her weakest subjects] as well as Geography and World Cultures, English, Literature, and... focusing on archery in P.E. at the moment.

Right. No -- philosophy. No logic. Why teach that to kids until they're in college. Who cares if they know how to think, we'll just cram everything else in there first.
